Product Designer

Hi, I'm Gus, a product designer with roots in industrial design, working across physical and digital products. The through-line is the same in both: understanding the person using the thing, then refusing to compromise on how it feels.

About

Before I touched Figma, I was designing for constraints that have no undo button: manufacturing tolerances, ergonomics, material behaviour, real human bodies doing real things. My background is in Industrial & Environmental Design, the kind of work where you have to understand physics, the person holding the object, and the cost of getting it wrong, all at once.

That discipline shapes how I approach every screen, system, and interaction I touch now. I sit at the intersection of physical and digital design, bringing the rigour of making real things into the work of designing digital ones.

I grew up in Brazil and studied design in Italy, which probably explains the coffee standards. I care about products that feel inevitable, where you open an app and think: of course it works this way. That feeling doesn't happen by accident.

Currently based in Australia. Shaped by too many places to pick just one.
